November 2, 2006, Walla, Walla, Washington: The Soda Works, the Washington State-based manufacturer of soda blasting equipment and materials/media distributor, today announced the release of its new product: the Buster Blaster 25, A soda blasting pot with a 25 pound capacity. Using the same patented technology as on the larger units.
"Our market research has shown there is a need for a smaller unit," says Joe Alexander, Founder and President of The Soda Works. "The Buster Blaster 25 is the perfect sized unit for small body shops, engine and transmission rebuilders and small mold remediation jobs. The smaller soda blaster can be run with a smaller air compressor that these shops are more likely to have. It only needs a an airflow of 17 cfm at 125 psi with a 3/32" tip or 24 cfm at 125 psi with a 1/8" tip which is what most of these shops have. It is also perfect for the home hobby shop and occasional users. Basically we designed a soda blaster so that anybody who can spray paint can soda blast as well."
The Soda Works, Inc. is the only national manufacturer of Buster Blaster, the original mobile soda blasting unit developed in 1997. Soda blasting is applicable to automotive, food processing, marine, road and highway maintenance and any other category where high pressure techniques are required. The Soda Works distributes Natrium-the preferred soda blast media-as well. It is a subsidiary of A&A Autobody, Inc. and dates back to the Alexander Motor Company, founded in 1937.
